Me and Al Tarq are off trekking for a few days. If I survive it’ll be on the blog π
To give ya’all an insight into life with horses I leave you with this excellent, in-depth documentary.

Best of luck on your trek. Live long and prosper π
Yay! I hope you take lots of pictures. π
Enjoy your time, my friend. You’ll survive. You wouldn’t have it any other way! π
Have fun
So Aafke how did the trekking go? Any handsome pics of Tarq? π
Everybody: It was great! As soon as I have sorted out the photo’s I will post on it. Tarq had a great time too! π
I had never seen that French & Saunders skit! That was priceless – it’s funny ’cause it’s true.
Yeah! π hihihihi, Tarq is the running horse! Glad you enjoyed!
My first pony, Honey, was like that – I got more exercise from trying to catch her than I ever did from riding her. And our paddocks were probably 50 acres, so I had no chance if she had got her strop on!
(Zac, on the other hand, was the reverse – I can recall only one occasion on which he wouldn’t let me catch him. Usually he would see my car and come flying.)
Tarq comes trotting towards the gate most of the time! i don’t have to do anything π
But once I’m on his back! Outside he has two speeds: ”walk”, and ”Ludicrous Speed”
Ludicrous speed?! OHMIGOD! They’ve gone to plaid!!!
