Zora has been to the vet

26 02 2009

I found a lump on Zora’s belly four days ago. It’s a tumor, and it has been operated on today.

It all went well and Zora has just returned home. She is still groggy but doing well.
The lump has been send to the laboratory to be checked if its benign or not.

I LOVE Zora. I even saw her in my dream once. Much kisses to the sweet princess and I am praying that it is benign. Please keep me posted and hug her from me.

Awwww, too precious! Reminds me of my ‘Duchess’ when I was just a wee lass. I hope Zora is soon back on her feet and cancer free!

Chin up Zora…there are still cats to chase and bones to bury….and your mistress to worship. Best wishes for a clean bill of health.

Thank you all for the good wishes, Zora is doing very well, has eaten a harty breakfast this morning. I am doing fine too, it’s always unpleasant to see your pet in such a condition. She waddled like Charly Chaplin at her outing last night, but she is much better now. I also have a set of painkillers, to be given over the next days, and she is very comfortable.

Achelois, that is so special, you saw her in a dream!!!!

Purple Drifter, yes, and that is not all, my cat gives Zora an earcleaning service from time to time! 😉

Yea, in the dream where I saw a lake/pond behind your house I also saw Zora following me around.

How is she? Poor baby 😦 I love dogs and Zora is a princess!

Aww, hope it turns out to be benign … Trixie has a lump on her chest but it’s just a fatty tumor.

Glad to hear the progress report on Zora and that she is getting lots of TLC, feline and human!

Poor puppy! Looks like the cat is keeping a close watch on her though. I love the way animals take care of each other, so sweet.

Update on Zora, I have the lab report; the tumor was malignant, but it was removed completely, and very early, for the moment Zora is fine.

Congratulations! That is very good news. The best scenario if the tumour is malignant is early detection and complete removal! Lucky Zora, attentive Aafke!
