By Dana. This old fragrance is not well known in the Netherlands, certainly nobody has the ”old lady” association with it over here. Tabu was formulated in 1924, it was designed to be utterly seductive. The femme fatale would smell like this. Tabu is spicy, there’s a lot of patchouli and an animalic note in the drydown. On my skin it’s also powdery and soft, and sometimes I get a citrus note in the drydown. That’s very unusual.
It’s warmth and spicyness make it ideal for the time of the year and I have been wearing it since Monday.
I actually have gotten compliments on this!
