Yihaaaaa!!!!!

flight-666-1

Just back from the cinema! I went to the Iron Maiden documentary ”Flight 666”!  Remember I went to the Iron Maiden concert last year? That was the same tour :)

Well there’s a documentary out on this Great worldtour they have been doing last year, and this movie was shown today, for one time only, all over the world! :) It was great! Supercallifralligisticexpalidocious!

Bruce Dickinson, the singer is also a pilot, qualified to fly the Boeing 757 they had chartered for the tour. The callsign was fivestar-666, and the plane was named: ”Ed force one” :D

It’s a nice movie: lots of fun, great shots from different gigs, and nice gritty not to slick camerawork.
It was also very nice to be in a fully packed cinema, full of Iron Maiden fans having a very good time :) There was even an introduction speech, (and no commercials) and one of the technicians of this cinema is an Iron Maiden fan and spend lots of time getting the sound as perfect as possible. And the sound was very good, at times you felt really as if you were at a concert!

ok i have no idea who they are, but looking thru briefly and going by your recent trend i expected there would be a MAIDEN in the picture wearing Iron ( chains maybe !!!)

BTW, Thanks much for your suggestion, i’m the proud owner of a Jade Tulip vase ( ~12X9”) pale green and faboulous occupying place of pride in my center table however buying and filing it up with tulips is getting t be expensive.
So thanks again for the ideas .

Radha! LOL!

Dennis, Yes! :D

Safiullahhussaini, You have good taste! the movie started with the first concert in Mumbai, it was so funny seeing the all-indian audience all maiden fans, all singing along with the songs just as we Dutch were in Assen, which was the Dutch place they had a concert!

Up The Irons!!

It was just amazing , awesome.. to good to be true.. that Maiden would come to my hometown..
They did..and it was totally great, to see them again after so many years…

Some people say.. it’s kinda “lame” to have this tour build on the ” world slavery” who we all know :)
To those people i say.. up yours.. I’ve seen lots of old and new rockers, heck even complete fams. Parents who could show their love for Maiden live…

A better gift was not possible, what Maiden gave us.. ..

Martend, welcome to my blog! :)
I agree, awsome and só much fun! And a great concert as well, I had the best eveing ever! It really was the best concert I have ever been to!
And why not revisit the world slavery tour? I was too young to see the eighties one! Of course one could have been lucky and have had metal-parents ;) I also noticed whole families! LOL: Rock-mother, Metal-father, and their little Hard-Rock kids! :D
I think Maiden is quite unique in this! And in another twenty years, When Maiden will be held up on the stage by wires while playing, and we will be there hanging on to our zimmerframes, our children will be bringing our grandchildren and we will have a brilliant time (again)
